DQG manufactures uPVC and uPVC/aluminium windows and doors with an exclusively Made in Italy production. It caters to a medium-high target audience, including privates, retailers and designers.
The company underwent a complete rebranding in 2019, and among the planned updates was the website redesign. This activity was part of a broader integrated marketing strategy aimed at renewing the Brand Identity as a whole and elevating the DQG brand.

New website, new Brand Identity
The client’s need was to create a clean and minimalistic website that would be easily accessible to the target audience and navigable on various devices.
The goal was to better reflect the company’s positioning as a provider capable of handling both small projects and large turnkey construction projects, with a focus on product quality.

Website design project step-by-step
- Definition of the sitemap, wireframe design and study of mobile and desktop UI/UX;
- Optimization of content and integration of media elements such as animations, images, photographs, videos,and product galleries;
- Planning of contact forms, CTAs and a reserved area to promote user interaction;
- Implementation of GA4 via Tag Manager for advanced event and goal tracking;
- Communication and sharing at every stage, with final training on the use of the new website.

Website performance optimization
During the website design, special attention was paid to performance and loading speed, given the numerous multimedia contents that could potentially slow it down.
To optimize performances, the website was developed with consideration for Core Web Vitals, conducting constant tests on web.dev throughout all stages of development, with the aim of ensuring the best possible user experience.

Mobile-first and Core Web Vitals
Thanks to this focus on speed and performance, the website achieved a significantly higher Google PageSpeed score for its industry, outperforming competitors and notably improving overall performance on both desktop and mobile devices.
The website’s mobile-first and performance-first redesign substantially contributed to the improvement of Core Web Vitals metrics: unlike the previous website, the current site excels in both desktop and mobile assessments.

Enhanced User Experience
Comparing year-over-year Web Analytics data (pre and post-launch), in September we observed an overall improvement in user engagement within the website.
In particular, we noticed that the average engagement duration nearly doubled, user views increased significantly, and engagement rate and sessions with engagement recorded growth.

SEO ranking improvement
In parallel with the website development, content revisions were carried out with a web-friendly and Search Engine Optimization perspective to improve search engine rankings.
Less than three months after the website’s launch, we observed a notable improvement in keyword rankings, with keywords tending to move closer to the 1st page of search engine results.
